"Medusa. Inversion" tells the story of an alternative history of the Gorgon Medusa, in which her curse,
after being violated by the god Poseidon, who turned into a bird, becomes her protection. Over time,
Medusa becomes more confident and resolute, leaving behind the suffering she endured, and wanting
to live on.

This idea inspired me to create the series after seeing Luciano Garbati's sculpture 'Medusa with the
head of Perseus', installed in New York opposite the courthouse where the trial against Harvey Weinstein
took place.

My conceptual inspiration comes from the shows and performances of designer Alexander McQueen.
As well as Pina Bausch's play "The Rite of Spring".
